An Architecture by De.Tales, Between Material and the Movement of Water

The complete renovation was entrusted to architecture and design studio De.Tales, which translates Sicilian traditions into a contemporary language of soft forms and fluid spatial flow. In the lobby, a radial floor pattern echoes furnishings and three-dimensional wall finishes that evoke the movement of water, while a bespoke wool-and-silk rug draws on organic forms. A sculptural reception desk, topped in lava stone with hand-woven blue leather detailing, anchors the space beneath soft, layered lighting. In the guestrooms, vaulted ceilings frame intimate sleeping alcoves, while locally crafted ceramics and lava stone dress wardrobes and writing desks, within a palette of sand and weathered stone tones lifted by deep blues.

Spread across seven categories, Mazzarò Sea Palace’s 70 rooms and suites all lean into sea views and private terraces.
