Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay — A Mediterranean Dream at the Gates of the Rif

Book Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay

Ten Hectares Between the Alboran Sea and the Rif Mountains

On the bay of Tamuda, between the cities of Tétouan and Tangier, Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay unfolds ten hectares of gardens facing 650 meters of private beach. The turquoise horizon of the Alboran Sea, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, stretches beneath the Rif mountains that frame the bay in the distance. Here, the scent of sea spray mingles with fragrant gardens, and the pace of a stay settles into the slow, steady rhythm of the waves. Just minutes from M’diq and its marina, the address cultivates the rare feeling of a preserved elsewhere, far from the bustle yet close to everything.

The Third Address of an Exceptional Collection

After Marrakech and Casablanca, Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay marks the third chapter of the Royal Mansour Collection, born from a desire to showcase Moroccan hospitality throughout the kingdom. Open since 2024, this beachfront palace aims to rank among the finest hotels in Morocco, bringing the same standard of excellence to the Mediterranean coast of the north. Here, hospitality speaks in many voices: those of the butlers, the Clefs d’Or concierges, the chefs and the therapists, all driven by the same pursuit of the perfect detail.

A Design by Karim El Achak, Between Patios and Moucharabieh

Conceived over more than a decade by Moroccan architect Karim El Achak, the architecture of Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay is organized around patios, pergolas and moucharabieh latticework, creating fluid transitions between interior and exterior. Low, elongated cream-colored volumes engage with the site’s topography to preserve both views and privacy. Inside, design studios Gilles & Boissier and Muza Lab crafted an interior that draws on the codes of northern Morocco and the Mediterranean: stylized mosaics, art pieces, natural materials and filtered light compose an atmosphere that is both mineral and sensitive.

Fifty-Five Suites and Villas Between Garden and Seafront

The estate counts 55 luxury accommodations, spread across two lines facing the Mediterranean. The 32 one-bedroom suites, Deluxe or Premier, range from 80 to 190 square meters and sit at garden level or upstairs. The 16 two-bedroom Privilege suites, from 210 to 460 square meters, offer generous space for families and groups of friends. For absolute privacy, the 5 Prestige Villas of 630 square meters each come with a butler, a garden and a private pool facing the beach, while the Princely Villa (1,500 square meters) and the Royal Villa (1,700 square meters), with its own spa, represent the pinnacle of the Royal Mansour experience.

A Culinary Journey Across Four Exceptional Tables

Dining holds a central place at Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, home to four restaurants with distinct identities. At Coccinella, Italian cuisine unfolds through fresh pasta, Neapolitan pizzas and generous antipasti. Le Méditerranée invites guests on a Spanish journey built around paella rice dishes, the day’s catch and a selection of caviars. La Table celebrates refined French cuisine, while Pool Beach composes an Asian and European menu to enjoy with toes in the sand. The Alboran Club rounds out the offering, extending the evening by the sea.

The Kingdom’s First Semi-Medicalized Medi-Spa

Spanning 4,300 square meters, the Medi-Spa at Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay stands as Morocco’s first semi-medicalized spa attached to a grand luxury property. Five medicalized treatment rooms host Longevity programs, combining preventive medicine, advanced therapies and holistic practices for comprehensive renewal. The quiet pool, set beneath a spherical suspension evoking the moon, offers a haven of silence away from the bustle. Thrill-seekers, meanwhile, can take out the hotel’s two Riva yachts, or try a seabob or paddleboard, to explore the bay of Tamuda in a different way.

A New Benchmark for Moroccan Beachfront Luxury

By choosing to establish its third address at the gates of the Rif, the Royal Mansour Collection makes its vision clear: to reveal, with flair, a still little-known stretch of the Moroccan coast. Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay already stands as a benchmark for those seeking, between sea and mountains, a luxury that is as discreet as it is spectacular.
