Casa Flora is a vacation rental apartment aimed at bringing a contemporary design to the canals of Venice.

Casa Flora is nestled in a beautiful traditional Venetian palace, in the San Marco district in the heart of Venice.

The apartment is owned by the Romanelli family, which has been running the neighbouring Flora hotel for more than 50 years. In order to design the apartment, the family called on Diego Paccagnella, the founder of bespoke furniture platform Design Apart, interior designer Laura Sari from Reveria, and architect Matteo Ghidoni from Salottobuono.

Rented since 2017, the 180 sqm apartment combines the comfort of a charming hotel and the atmosphere of a private house, with a personalized contemporary design. Ideally arranged, the apartment is divided into two sections: social spaces inviting people to gather on one side, and private quarters on the other side for seclusion and respite. Interiors are bright and airy, with wide windows opening up above the pale blue lagoon. Each piece of furniture or object has been skillfully designed and custom made by more than twenty Italian and local artisan companies. There are also traditional Venetian materials including Murano glass by Salviati, terrazzo Palladiana tiles, treated briar wood by Xilia and textiles by Rubelli. There is also a lot of greenery, such as an extension of the garden facing Casa Flora. The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms decorated in the characteristic colors of the lagoon, such as light pink, green, yellow and blue. Each room includes a dedicated reading area and a bathroom with hammam designed as a small private garden. Services include daily cleaning, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer. part of the hospitality concept, Casa Flora also offers local experiences with talented artisans, designers, private chefs, Venetian rowing, wine tastings, cooking classes, local tours and many others. All items of the apartment are available for purchase.
