TypeO Loft is an apartment for rent located on the rural outskirts of the picturesque town of Ystad in the county of Skåne in southern Sweden.

TypeO Loft is the idea of the couple Micha van Dinther and Magnus Wittbjer, founders of the TypeO design and content agency. In 2015 they left the bustle and hustle of the city, and settled in a traditional stone farmhouse datted from 1842. The interiors have been transformed to accommodate modern life, respecting and retaining the original materials, like the roof beams. The loft is located upstairs in the farmhouse, where the couple also live and work. This open-plan space was created as a soothing retreat specifically arranged for comfort and relaxation, and to allow guests to take a break, and vacation away from the crowds.

With a surface area of 50 square meters, it can accommodate only two people, and includes a cozy bedroom with Read The Label bed linen, a concrete bathroom with a shower, a custom-made Nordiska Kök kitchen in light wood, and a lounge with Togo leather armchairs by Ligne Roset, nestled beneath the exposed beams of the farmstead’s pitched roof. The entrance is independent by an external staircase which also serves as a terrace. The triangular facade with large floor-to-ceiling windows offers stunning views of the surrounding natural landscape of trees and grassy hillsides. As in a showroom, each element (dishes, furniture, linen, objects, lighting, magazines carefully handpicked for their beauty and functionality) that make up the loft, is available to purchase in the TypeO online store, in case guests want to introduce them into their own homes on return from their trip.

In addition, each morning you can taste a breakfast prepared with ingredients from local suppliers.
