Villa Mercii is a holiday house for rent located in Umalas, a charming village located between the wonderful rice fields of the South East coast of Bali, Indonesia.

Nicely located in one of Bali’s most picturesque beachside towns, the house is perfectly positioned for forays into Seminyak and Canggu, yet far enough away to offer sanctuary for the soul.

Completed at the end of 2019, the house was designed by Jye Taylor and Madeline Relph. Villa Mercii is designed in a modern tropical island style with clean lines, open staircases, an abundance of polished concrete, and alang-alang grass rooves. The house can accommodate up to 8 people. Villa Mercii consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms with rain showers and bathtubs, distributed among the different structures that make up the house. There is also a roof top terrace with a canopy view, furnished with soft and comfortable cushions, in order to relax and admire the beautiful sunset. The outdoor area includes a covered terrace, a crystal blue swimming pool, and plenty of local tropical cacti and palm trees. The minimalist-chic and predominantly white interiors are furnished in a Less is More approach. The house is decorated with touches of earthy hues, antiques, repurposed wood, concrete shelving, seats and benches, natural fabrics, textured cushions, black ceramic tableware, a lof of vases, and many objects and accessories made locally. Thanks to numerous large openings, the interior spaces are bathed in natural light. Interior and exterior spaces blend harmoniously. The house comes completely fitted with all the amenities required for a stress-free vacation, as well as on-site staff happy to assist you with any additional requirements. The house is only available for rent for a few weeks in the year.
