Bibi is an apartment for rent, located in the heart of the Bibi district in Biarritz. It is a few minutes from the beach, the Biarritz market halls, and all the shops.
The apartment is that of Marie (ceramic artist) and her companion, living in London but attached to the region where the young woman has all her family and her roots. The 65 sqm apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. Nestled on the ground floor and benefits from a private entrance, it includes a living room that opens to the kitchen with a large table, an equipped and functional kitchen with a large worktop and plenty of storage, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms with a rainfall shower, basin, and toilet. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted dressing room, a workshop-style glass partition with blinds opening onto the living room. The second bedroom has a double bed, a fitted dressing room, a vanity unit with a mirror, and a sliding door behind which the bathroom is hidden. The apartment has been completely renovated, and equipped with all comforts, keeping the spirit of the place (original tiles, painted bricks, sanded concrete floor). Designed as a place of beautiful materials, the apartment consists of a worktop in Vosges wood tailor-made in the bathroom, zelliges on the wall of the shower, concrete on the floor with lots of imperfections but above all a lot of charm, a Silestone worktop in the kitchen, hints of sandstone, and brick walls repainted in white. The decoration is sober and minimalist, with soft tones dotted throughout the apartment, second-hand vintage furniture, and many objects brought back from trips, such as crockery, rugs, or pendant lights. The high ceiling, and a through exposure, make the apartment very bright, giving off a pleasant feeling of space in the living room.
