Ida – Historic town apartments is located in the far north of South Tyrol, in the heart of Sterzing, in the bustling town center of Vipiteno.
Formerly a haberdashery until the 1990s, Ida is a listed 14th century townhouse, lavishly renovated in 2021 by Veronika and Daniel in collaboration with Italian architectural firm Asaggio. Veronika and Daniel are also owners of the wine bar “Vin Zenz” located a few meters from Ida, very popular with gourmets and wine lovers. Since the summer of 2021, a brand new hotel, the Haus am Turm, has opened its doors above the bar restaurant.
Ida consists of 10 apartments spread over three floors combining tradition and modernity. They offer a wonderful blend of minimalist style, contemporary design, high-quality furnishings, and historical elements such as high ceilings, thick walls, Gothic halls, vaults, wooden doors, and reliefs. Some touches of green color, natural materials, oak and terrazzo floors, corner benches, alpine farmhouse chairs, ceiling paneling, select textiles, bath products made from local organic herbs, and beautiful stationery complete the warm, elegant and comfortable atmosphere. Bathed in dazzling light from the large bay windows, each apartment has a unique character.
The individual apartments of various sizes, ideal for couples and families can accommodate between two and six people in a private and peaceful atmosphere. There are five apartment categories: Stube (55 sqm), Studio (32 sqm), Suite (35 sqm), Family (50 sqm), and Loft (63 sqm). All apartments have a fully equipped functional kitchen.
On request, it is possible to book a full service ranging from daily cleaning, laundry and ironing service to breakfast. Guests can have a breakfast basket with selected regional specialties delivered to the apartment – or start the day with a slow food breakfast at Vin Zenz.
