Alpinhotel Vajolet is located 1028 m above sea level in the village of Tiers, in the heart of the Dolomites and south of the Sciliar National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alpinhotel Vajolet is surrounded by untouched landscapes made up of forests, meadows and the most beautiful mountains such as Catinaccio, Latemar, Sciliar and Alpe di Siusi.

The Rieder family hotel was renovated and extended in 2018. The project was to reflect the impressive panorama inside the hotel. The facade was designed with vertical strips of spruce wood, giving a sense of privacy while allowing a connection with nature.

The hotel has 26 spacious rooms divided into 4 categories and named after three of the famous Vajolet towers. The light-flooded rooms have large windows, allowing a dialogue with the surrounding nature and the view of the beautiful Tiers valley with its green meadows. Rooms feature contemporary decor with a modern alpine style, timeless bespoke oak furniture and black accents. Large images of the Dolomites and the Vajolet towers as well as lyrics by famous mountaineers above the beds bring the alpine landscape back to the rooms. All rooms have a balcony and the rooms on the 3rd floor have a high wooden ceiling.

The hotel offers a generous breakfast buffet, providing the energy and vitamins needed to start the day well. Alpinhotel Vajolet has a restaurant where Tyrolean dishes from the Alps meet Mediterranean cuisine from Italy, traditional dishes are reinterpreted with great creativity and know-how by chef Egon.

There is also an outdoor swimming pool and a wellness area with a hammam, a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin, a relaxation room, a large terrace with a hot tub and a treatment room.
