The concept behind Arcora is rooted in Arctic immersion. Designed by PAVE Architects, the resort is composed of 42 hotel rooms and 20 detached villas, creating a hybrid between boutique hotel and private wilderness retreat. The architecture draws inspiration from Lapland’s natural forms, using wood, glass, and dark mineral tones to reflect the surrounding forest and seasonal light changes. Rather than dominating the landscape, the buildings are integrated into it. Large floor-to-ceiling windows open directly onto the forest and night sky, turning nature into a constant presence. The design philosophy is centered on “Arctic luxury through silence,” where space, light, and materiality define the experience as much as service or amenities.

The accommodation is divided into suites and villas, each designed with a strong focus on privacy, comfort, and connection to the outdoors. Inside the Jr Suite Kalle, Executive Suite Jussi, and Deluxe Villa Jouni, interiors follow a distinctly Nordic aesthetic: natural wood surfaces, soft wool textiles, stone details, and a restrained palette of warm neutrals and deep earthy tones. The Executive Suite Jussi introduces a more elevated residential experience, with a separate bedroom, open views to the wilderness, and a private spa area featuring a view sauna and sculptural bathtub designed for bathing beneath the Arctic sky.
