The Soldevila-Ferrer family, the team behind the contemporary boutique-hotel Sant Francesc Hotel Singular in Palma, has meticulously restored and transformed a historic 17th century Spanish country house into an intimate location. Its construction was also a joint effort with the local design studio Bastidas Architecture and the Barcelona-based WIT studio. Heavy wooden doors, original stone, and rustic exposed beams contrast with eclectic contemporary furniture, turning the property into a welcoming summer home. Can Ferrereta presents a simple, clean, and spacious design. The property houses an exclusive collection of contemporary art by local and Spanish artists, one of the most impressive in the region.

The hotel has 32 monochrome, elegant rooms and suites with minimalist details. The rooms are surrounded by lush gardens, and most of which have a patio and terrace, while the signature suite features a private pool and garden. Neutral shades of beige and brown, cotton and natural linen combine together to create a fresh and inviting mood. Bathrooms are also quite spacious and feature unique fragrances and soaps created by Heeley Parfums.

Ochre, the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant with a Mallorcan patio, serves seasonal dishes prepared with local products. There are also 2 bars, one of which is an outdoor bar called Fresca, and a 25-meter swimming pool surrounded by Mediterranean gardens.
