Casa Bonay: Hotel in Barcelona
Casa Bonay is a hotel in Barcelona with beautifully designed spaces where you can sleep, eat, drink, and whole lot more.
Casa Bonay is more than a hotel, it’s a lifestyle
Located in the Eixample district, on the Gran Via de Les Corts Catalan, in the heart of Barcelona, Caca Bonay is a lifestyle hotel that puts local craftsmanship in the spotlight.
Casa Bonay was designed by Inés Miró-Sans, who is the founder and co-owner. Casa Bonay is the result of a joint effort between several trades such as designers, artists, chefs, brewers, architects, young creators etc… It was previously a neoclassical building from 1886 that belonged to the Bonay family. In close collaboration with the Brooklyn-based design firm Studio Tack, the building was completely renovated, while preserving its original attributes. On the ground floor you will find wonderful mosaics, arches, marble stairs and original wooden doors that remind you of Barcelona in the old days.
The hotel has 67 light-flooded rooms, all very different, which combine textures and colors in perfect harmony. The decor is elegant with cement tiles in earth tones, high ceilings, cream-colored walls and touches of teal blue. From the furniture to the blankets and even the soap, it is a pure product of Barcelona – and Catalan culture. Most of the rooms have an outdoor space, a veranda or terrace with a hammock, and an outdoor shower. The bathrooms are small, but with everything you need.
On the first floor you will find the best of Barcelona without having to leave the hotel; a bookstore, clothing store, juice bar, café, cocktail bar, and restaurant. The hotel also has two rooftops: one reserved for guests, and the other one open to everyone. Bicycles are also made available to explore the old city streets.
In a relaxed mood, Casa Bonay is more than just a hotel, it is a place to live and socialize.
