Casa YOUM is nestled on a hill in Estaque, at the entrance to the coves of the Côte Bleue de Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône region.

The word “Youm” means “the day” in Arabic. Casa YOUM was born in 2021 from the meeting of a Franco-Tunisian couple, Amira and Édouard, passionate about travel, decoration, photography and hospitality. Inspired by their travels around the world, this guest house is an exceptional and relaxed place to live.

Built-in 1870, the Provençal-style house is located on a two-hectare mountainous plot. This building was the place where the famous painter Paul Cézanne stayed for 6 months and found his inspiration.

Completely restored and bathed in light, the couple tried to preserve the charm of this building by mixing traditional and modern, and drawing inspiration from their lands of origin. Between Tunisia and southern Italy, Casa YOUM is a harmonious blend of their different Mediterranean cultures. Carefully designed, every detail of the place has been thought out to offer the best in comfort and a high-end experience, meeting guests’ expectations.

Casa YOUM consists of 2 rooms and 1 suite, all with their own decoration. The Sole room (sun in Italian) displays white and beige tones with a touch of terracotta, while the Nube room (cloud in Greek) comes in shades of white and cedar green. The 45 sqm Terra suite is decorated with a Berber carpet, handcrafted objects, and a bathroom with a magnificent shower basin covered with terracotta tiles. Each room benefits from an outdoor space with sea and mountain views, and also blazing sunsets.

With polished concrete floors, wooden doors, characterful tiling, stone coverings and basins, copper and brass taps and wardrobes, the house gives pride of place to raw and natural materials, emphasizing the spirit of escape.

For dinner, the table d’hôtes offers menus with Mediterranean flavors, which vary every day according to desires and fresh produce.

In the heart of the lush garden, the swimming pool and the outdoor lounge overlooking the Marseille city invite you to relax. A change of scenery guaranteed.
