Designed by Philippe Chiambaretta’s firm and brought to life by New York designers Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch of the renowned studio Roman & Williams, La Fondation presents itself as a space that is both warm and resolutely contemporary. The building combines raw concrete, large glass windows, and abundant greenery, creating an atmosphere where modernity meets nature. Every space, from the lobby to the rooms, reflects meticulous attention to detail, featuring noble materials and artworks carefully curated by Galerie Amélie Maison d’Art, offering visitors a sensory and aesthetic experience.

The hotel has 58 rooms, including 3 exceptional suites, spread over seven floors. Each room is designed as a cocoon where comfort and elegance meet subtly. The interiors are characterized by a clean, contemporary décor, blending light wood, natural fabrics, and artistic touches that captivate the eye without overwhelming the space. Large windows allow natural light to flood in, offering unique views of the bustling neighborhood or the suspended gardens. Each room features custom-made furniture, the result of close collaboration with local artisans, with every detail—from lighting to textiles—designed to delight, inspire, and provide a refined stay in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

La Fondation offers two restaurants led by Chef Thomas Rossi. On the ground floor, the brasserie Base serves modern French cuisine, highlighting seasonal, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. Abstract murals and natural light create a friendly setting for an impromptu lunch or a gourmet break. On the 8th floor, the bistronomic restaurant offers a refined culinary experience, complemented by breathtaking panoramic views of the capital.
