An atypical experience

In Southern Corsica, Les Suites du Maquis hotel is is ideally located between Bonifacio and the bay of Sant’Amanza, a stone’s throw from the beach of Maora.

Opened in July 2020 by the young couple Fanny and Nicolas, Les Suite du Maquis is a hotel residence with an original concept. On a preserved property, surrounded by scrubland, olive trees, local species, and typical dry stone enclosures, the couple designed 4 units combining a flat roof, wooden cladding, and black aluminum fittings with a contemporary, cube-shaped architecture.

The estate has 8 suites with a surface area of 22 sqm; and each residence has 2 independent suites facing each other back to back, guaranteeing calm and privacy. Each one is tastefully decorated in neutral tones, combining contemporary furniture, wood, brass, natural materials, and design objects. The waxed concrete bathrooms are equipped with an Italian-style shower with a window, a vanity unit and faucets in brushed steel, brass, or matte black, depending on the suite. You will find organic toiletries from the Corsican brand Casanera Made in Maquis. Each suite has a private jacuzzi, a wooden terrace with garden furniture and sun loungers, a Mediterranean garden, and an outdoor shower.

Every morning, breakfast is served on your suite’s doorstep. Les Suites du Maquis also offers tapas and picnic baskets. A fully equipped kitchen is at guests’ disposal. Unwind as you listen to the sound of cicadas singing, and take in the scent of the nearby vegetation.
