Lilou: Hotel in Hyères

In the South of France, the new Lilou hotel is a true haven of peace where art and creativity mingle.

Between Marseille and Saint-Tropez, along the French coast facing the Mediterranean Sea

Lilou hotel is located at number 7 boulevard Pasteur, in Hyères, in the South of France. Hyères, nicknamed “City of Palm Trees”, was once a city where the European elite flocked to enjoy its temperate climate and gentle way of life. The city benefits from 25 km of beaches.

Lilou Hotel is part of the collection of addresses initiated by David Pirone, restaurateur and businessman.
The building which is part of the city’s heritage was formerly the Hôtel du Parc. After three years of intense work and interior fittings, it reopened and regained its former charm.

The restyling of the hotel is the work of the interior designer duo Kim Haddou and Florent Dufourcq. The interiors recall the golden hours of the Côte d’Azur with a strong but timeless style.

Behind the three-story Haussmann façade, a large hall, a lounge and a bar like a winter garden, transport guests into an exotic and bohemian atmosphere with rattan sofas.

The artistic curation of the hotel was entrusted to Jean-Pierre Blanc, director of Villa Noailles. A series of holiday-themed works, including paintings, mosaics, frescoes, photographs, sculptures and ceramics come from 14 emerging artists.

The 37 intimate rooms, spread over four floors, feature high ceilings and carefully chosen furnishings that meet the needs of the contemporary traveler. The warm color palette comes in shades of beige, vanilla, cream and off-white. The poplar furniture, which blends perfectly with these shades, brings a warm touch, enhanced by a cork floor and numerous mirrors reflecting the light. On the top floor of the hotel, two rooms have a sea view.

The hotel has a library with a large table d’hôtes and an exclusive private tasting room, reserved for 12 guests, where you can taste Emmanuel Perrodin’s Mediterranean cuisine. The emphasis is on locally sourced ingredients and carefully crafted seasonings.

Outside, a pergola decorated with large columns allows you to enjoy a lush, green setting. There is also a terrace which borders a white zellige swimming pool.
