A timeless refuge in the heart of nature
Souki Lodges & Spa is nestled at the foot of the Pic de Vissou, between mountains and hills, holm oaks and vines, on the edge of the village of Cabrières, in the heart of the Hérault region.
Opened in 2021, Souki Lodges & Spa was designed by Fabien Morcel and Gilles Pascal. This is a new concept which, as close as possible to nature, immerses guests in unspoiled and wild vegetation. Souki takes its name from “souquious”, the vine strain in Occitan.
Souki Lodges & Spa are 2 unique cabins hung on the hillside, which blend perfectly into nature. The two lodges, which follow the natural shape of the land, are entirely facing outwards and facing due south. Designed in organic French sourced wood, these 55 m2 hideaways are called “L’Arbre Perché” and “Le Nuage”. Each lodge with its refined architecture has a lounge area, a mezzanine bedroom, a bathroom with a free-standing bathtub, a 60 m2 furnished terrace, and a private jacuzzi. The contemporary interiors in blond wood, with design and modern decoration, are equipped with large bay windows bringing in nature and light throughout the day.
On the catering side, the hotel offers a homemade breakfast made from organic, local and seasonal products prepared minute and presented in a basket, aperitif boards made up of specialties and wines from the region, and a table d’hôtes by the owners or a guest chef. Guests can also go to the Michelin-starred Apönem gourmet table.
Both lodges have access to a natural swimming pool which offers a breathtaking view. Naturally purified by the plants that grow there, it invites you to take a dip and relax.
The region offers many walking sites that can be explored by electric bike with a picnic basket prepared for the occasion.
