The Terre de maquis guesthouse is nestled in a typical Corsican village, Sari-d’Orcino, in the Cinarca valley. The house is ideally located a few minutes from very beautiful wild beaches or the most beautiful mountain hikes, less than half an hour from the imperial city of Ajaccio and its airport, and less than an hour from the creeks of Piana.

Perched on the Corsican mountains, in the heart of a property of one and a half hectares surrounded by maquis as far as the eye can see and overlooking the sea, Terre de Maquis is the ideal refuge to appreciate the most total plenitude.

In the middle of olive trees, fig trees, citrus fruits, mastic trees, arbutus, and everlasting, Terre de Maquis offers three spacious guest rooms. The rooms display a style inspired by nature, a modern and warm decoration, raw and natural materials, warm and relaxing colors, creating a cocooning atmosphere with a bohemian touch. Each has independent access and gives direct access to a wooden terrace furnished with wicker armchairs and hanging chairs or hammocks, and a small private garden protected from the sun by a pergola, in the middle of scrubland species. The rooms have all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay.

Every morning, a copious and tasty breakfast is served as a buffet, based on fresh products, eggs from their own hens, and homemade delicacies. It is offered outside, facing the sea, or by the fire in the living-room in the cool season. Terre de Maquis offers aperitif platters made up of cold cuts and cheeses from its artisans, terrines, jam, coffee and digestive.

An outdoor jacuzzi and a heated swimming pool, treated with salt, with a large submerged beach invite you to cool off. There is also a large wooden terrace equipped with deckchairs, parasols, and large armchairs with soft cushions. Many spaces have been designed for moments of rest and privacy.
