Tulum Treehouse: Hotel in Tulum
Just a few kilometers from Tulum's vibrant beaches, Tulum Treehouse is a retreat that blends minimalist contemporary architecture with local craftsmanship.
A jungle immersion
Tulum is the most popular destination in the Yucatán Peninsula.
Tulum Treehouse is a hideaway located on the edge of the jungle, next to the Sian Ka’an Reserve.
Tulum Treehouse was designed from an existing structure, in collaboration with Mexican architecture studio Co-Lab Design Office, interior designer Annabell Kutucu, and local artisans.
Over three floors opening out onto the jungle, the house blends perfectly in with its environment. Tulum Treehouse is a blend of architectural modernity and Yucatan traditions, with a minimalist and uncluttered style. The exteriors, interior walls and floors, clad in polished white concrete, contrast with the Tzalam wood throughout the house. The light and air flow throughout the different spaces.
Tulum Treehouse has 5 bedrooms, each with a bathroom, terrace, outdoor shower, hammock or sitting area. Each room is a peaceful haven and is decorated with soft colors, Oaxaca carpets, frosted brass design accents, Caravana textiles and custom furniture created by artisans.
In the living room and dining room, hand-woven wicker baskets and La Chicharra ceramics are arranged next to wickerwork seats. The large roof terrace offers spectacular views of the endless jungle, with seating and a large outdoor dining table. Pergolas crowned by rows of sticks provide a bit of shade. The cuisine is prepared by visiting chefs from around the world exploring new interpretations of traditional Mexican cuisine. In addition, Tulum Treehouse has a swimming pool.
Tulum Teehouse is a naturally secluded eco-friendly escape in the tropics”.
