Nestled in the Landes, on the edge of Hossegor’s saltwater lake, the Villa Seren hotel is a place where you can find peace and quiet.

Originally, it was a villa built in 1898, then later bought in 1920 and transformed into the hotel La Bonbonnière, which had been left abandoned for years. Its new owners, Lénaïg and Philippe Lagasse, made a clean sweep in 2016, in order to build a place that would be respectful of the environment and offer a refuge where refinement and simplicity coexist together. The Villa Seren hotel & spa reinvents a cool chic and eco-sustainable luxury hotel, promoting well-being in total harmony. “Villa” refers to large, comfortable family homes and “Seren” is the Gascon translation of the word serene.

Villa Seren has 27 large, designer, comfortable, Art Deco style rooms with a soft, warm vibe to them. The decoration mixes warm tones, white walls, rattan armchairs, and 50’s-style lighting. The rooms are divided into 4 categories, Grain de Sable, Seren, Tribu Suite for families, and the 50m2 Dream suite. The bathrooms are either equipped with a bathtub or a walk-in shower. Some rooms have a terrace with a breathtaking view over the lake.

In the morning there is a breakfast buffet on the ground floor of the hotel with fresh local products. The Seren’issime Bar with its lounge spaces and fireplace, serves a menu consisting of tapas, cocktails and current suggestions. The Seren’ity Decléor Spa features a sauna, hammam, sensory shower, ice fountain, and a solar-heated outdoor swimming pool. The wooden terrace, shaped like a dock, invites you to enjoy sunsets over the lake every evening.
