Vivere Suites & Rooms: A creatively designed Italian boutique hotel

Vivere Suites & Rooms sits at the foot of the Arco mountains, moments from Lake Garda, in Trentino, northern Italy.

Owners Edy & Miki Longo transformed a new olive grove into a modernist retreat, working with Milanese architects Genuizzi Banal Architetti. Vivere means “to live” in Italian. The hotel features clean, cuboidal structures that blend local stone walls with rusty steel panels. This contemporary architecture merges seamlessly with the mountain landscape.

This intimate hotel offers six suites: four with integrated kitchenette and two junior suites. Each suite has its own private entrance and garden, ensuring complete privacy. The suites are refined and sophisticated, with neutral tones, polished concrete floors, and clean lines. Vintage touches and hand-woven fabrics add warmth. Large windows frame views of the gardens and mountains beyond. The Corner Suite includes an outdoor sitting area, perfect for evening wine or shaded afternoon relaxation.

Begin each day with breakfast featuring mountain teas, fresh breads, homemade jams, local cheeses, cold meats, and eggs from the neighboring farm. Vivere produces its own honey, olive oil, and wine from surrounding vineyards. While there’s no on-site restaurant, excellent dining options—including a family pizzeria—are nearby.

The hotel features a serene lounge with fireplace, a heated swimming pool with sunbeds, and a covered terrace. The wellness area offers massages drawing from Eastern and Western traditions. Pilates and yoga classes take place in the fitness room.

Bikes are available to explore the countryside or ride to Riva del Garda, where you can relax by the lake.
