Located in the middle of the Aegean Sea, Tinos is a Greek island, nestled between Andros and Mykonos.
Tinos is the third largest island in the Cyclades archipelago and yet,
it is often shunned by foreign tourists who tend to go to Santorini or Mykonos.
This is therefore a significant advantage for travelers looking for authenticity and scenic destinations.
Tinos is not polluted by mass tourism.
A port city since ancient Greece, Chora or even Tinos-ville is the capital of Tinos.
It is at the port of Tinos that one arrives by ferry from Andros, Siros or Mykonos.
Once disembarked, you have to explore the alleys and their terraces,
admire the white facades of traditional houses and the maze of cobbled streets of the small town center.
It is interesting to stroll through the ancient streets leading to the church, lined with small shops where you can glean souvenirs.
Some typical and picturesque island villages are unmissable.
Volax is a unique village where the white houses side by side with the granite blocks,
