Fontenille Menorca Torre Vella: Hotel in Menorca

One estate, two experiences

Located on the unassuming island of Menorca in Alaior, Fontenille Menorca opened in 2019 as a apart of Les Domaines de Fontenille collection.

Guillaume Foucher and Frédéric Biousse have transformed 2 fincas into hotels celebrating slow life. Fontenille Menorca is a concept bringing together 2 buildings a few km apart and with distinct styles, comprising a total of 39 rooms spread over the two fincas; Fontenille Menorca Santa Ponsa and Fontenille Menorca Torre Vella.

Torre Vella offers 17 rooms in the main house and in its former stables. The clean decoration reflects a chic bohemian style with white limewashed walls, waxed concrete, white curtains, driftwood, cactus, wicker hangings, and linen sofas. The rooms are equipped with a terrace and some of which have a private swimming pool.

Directed by our Chef Albert Riera, Siempreviva highlights planchas, vegetables and sharing plates such as paella, baked fish and barbecues, all in the intimate atmosphere of the main house’s patio. Every two days, at the end of the day, the pop-up bar offers an aperitif at the edge of the cliff, 60 meters above sea level, to admire the sunset.

Torre Vella is the ideal place to reconnect with nature. Isolated in the middle of vineyard, fields of olive trees and aromatic plants, it covers over 200 hectares a condensed version of the wild Menorcan landscapes. Mineral outdoor pool, yoga classes on the cliffs, outdoor massages under the holm oaks, horseback riding, the area has been designed for total immersion in nature. Its proximity to Santa Ponsa gives its visitors the possibility of using its Susanne Kaufmann.

All of these different hotel experiences complement each other, creating a unique and relaxing mood.
