Villa Las Cicadas is nestled in the countryside, at the entrance to the lively village of Santa Gertrudis, in the north-east of the island of Ibiza.

The 500-year-old farmhouse, surrounded by olive groves and green mountains, was completely renovated in 2014, when Nora Bullerjahn and Tavis Buschman decided to launch Las Cicadas, and in 2024 where Sarah Suco Torres joined as a new partner. The natural beauty of the original building with its characteristic shapes has been preserved and enhanced by color, art and life through plants.

Las Cicadas is a truly unique and authentic property, steeped in history and the bohemian vibe of Ibiza.

This luxurious vacation home can accommodate up to 12 people in comfort and style. It includes the main farmhouse, converted stables and a renovated barn. The main house has a spacious living room with comfortable sofas and an open fireplace. This living room opens onto a fully equipped family kitchen. The barn, located on the other side of the patio, provides the perfect space to relax and socialize, as it has comfortable sofas, an open fireplace, a piano and a large dining table. The barn opens directly onto the patio, where there is also a summer kitchen.

The 6 bedrooms are distributed between the main house and the stables. Within the main house, there are four bedrooms: two doubles with en suite bathrooms – including the master bedroom with its private lounge and terrace – as well as a third double bedroom and a twin bedroom sharing a bathroom, ideal for families with children. Those looking for a little more privacy can enjoy the two bedrooms in the converted stables, both with a private entrance and en suite bathroom, as well as access to a shared patio. The rooms are bright, colorful and tastefully decorated. They feature rustic stone walls, terracotta tiles, natural textiles and weavings, artwork and other unique features. Bathrooms are designed with mosaic or terrazzo walls, stone sinks and natural wood decor.

Outside, there is a large patio, a relaxing fountain, relaxation areas, a green lawn, palm trees and fruit trees, a large swimming pool, an elevated jacuzzi, deck chairs and sofa beds shaded by fig trees.

Out of season, Las Cicadas regenerates, like the rest of the island. The villa hosts artists in residence, whose artworks are displayed throughout the house. The aim is to bring together artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to interact with the natural environment, local communities and history of the island.

Las Cicadas welcomes groups of friends and families wanting to reconnect with the deep, rural soul of Ibiza.
